Fluval Tri-X Filter Cartridge G Series

Fluval Tri-Ex cartridge is for use with the innovative Fluval external filters G Series and combines the binding power of the Fluval Phosphate remover, the Fluval nitrate remover and active carbon for an all in one waste management solution for fresh water aquariums. With the continued use of Fluval Tri-Ex, nitrates, phosphates and organic pollutants remain under control. The specialized mesh size of the carbon component maximizes the surface to volume ratio for optimizes performance. For new aquariums use Fluval Tri-Ex a day one and test for phosphate and nitrate levels bi-monthly, when one or both ions start to rise again it is time to replace the cartridge. For established aquariums it is important to remove excess phosphate or nitrate levels through water changes or Fluval nitrate remover or phosphate remover cartridges prior to using the Tri-Ex cartridge.
